Academic Internship

PR & Marketing Intern
ODU Department of Communication and Theatre Arts

For my Academic Internship, I was the Public relations and Marketing Intern for Old Dominion's Department of Communication and Theatre Arts. The Marketing Director, Deanna Gummer, is in charge of internal information dissemination from the department to its students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni. As part of this department, I worked on several publications and mediums that best fit our message release and our target markets. 

I worked on several social media campaigns and designed the content management schedule for 6 majors. I also led the creation, development, and execution of the 'Whose Shoes?' Dance major's social media. While in this role, my biggest accomplishment is elevating the alumni magazine "The Vessel" to a professional level as creative director and designer.
